Greg Bernall & Chris Upton are a composer duo who joined the documentary in its early days. They blended the raw, analog synth sounds of the New Wave era with a deep, nostalgic longing, evoking the bittersweet emotions of being far from home.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Friends and music collaborators TRACE and Ariel Loh came together to rework a cover of Sài Gòn, a classic Vietnamese song that Trace’s mother sang over 40 years ago. In the studio, they sought to transform its upbeat French New Wave pop sound into a more contemplative, ambient rendition—one that would highlight the song’s profound meaning as an anthem during the Vietnam War.
